Collaborate, Illuminate, and Empower!

We are a professional library organization committed to the support and advancement of libraries and those interested in library service through professional development and timely communications. We do this in a number of ways: by promoting professional growth of its members, supporting innovative library services throughout the county, encouraging cooperation among libraries, librarians, staff and supporters, informing the public of library matters, and and by providing professional support and assistance to members of PBCLA. We hope that you'll take the time to get to know us better!

Talk and Taste: Librarians in Pop Culture

Join us on Friday, July 10th at 7:00pm to discuss Librarians in Popular Culture.  Think Parker Posey from Party Girl or Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  We will be discussing how librarians are represented in movies, television, and books, and how these portrayals influence our profession and how we view ourselves.  We will be meeting at Palm Beach Hibiscus, located in Downtown West Palm Beach, at 213 S. Rosemary Ave.  For directions, please see map below.  This event is open to all PBCLA members and guests.  For more information, or to share our flyer, click on the link below.
