We are a professional library organization committed to the support and advancement of libraries and those interested in library service through professional development and timely communications. We do this in a number of ways: by promoting professional growth of its members, supporting innovative library services and research, encouraging cooperation among libraries, librarians, staff and supporters, keeping the public informed, and providing scholarship support to students enrolled in library and information science degree programs. We hope that you'll take the time to get to know us better!

Talk and Taste Review
Last week’s Talk and Taste event was a huge success! Nearly a dozen librarians from all over the county had an informed discussion about the increasingly popular trend of embedding librarians into relevant organizations in our local communities. Citing the ever-popular success of Jamie Larue’s work in Douglas County, CO (http://bit.ly/1u0nYLs) PBCLA members considered how we too can move beyond the traditional library service model and engage in embedded librarianship in Palm Beach County.

Hope to see you at our next Talk and Taste event in January!
